Together with the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Peking University ITT is happy to organize an Innovation Management Certification event.

Siemens Healthcare together with the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Peking University is happy to organize an Innovation Management Certification event.

The certification  aims to foster students to develop innovative solutions for real world problems in healthcare. Students from all disciplines (Bio-medical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Computer engineering, Industrial engineering, Product design etc.) are welcomed to apply.

This event was created by Mr. Sultan Haider, Founder and director of Innovation Think Tank, Siemens Healthcare GmbH, Germany. Mr. Haider has filed over 400 inventions and patents and has established 8 innovation labs in Germany, China, India, Turkey and USA. He holds guest faculty positions in several world renowned institutions and is also a director Innovation Research Lab at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. In this event Mr. Haider will teach the training course himself.

Selected students will be invited for two day certification course  and team competition on Innovation Management organized at Peking university in collaboration with Siemens Healthcare.

 

Awards:

After 2 hours of training on innovation management theory and methodology the students would be given a team task to come up with out-of-the box solutions to solve one of the many demanding topics in global healthcare.

The 3 best teams will receive awards. All the participants will receive a certificate. The best performing students would be offered “Young Student Innovator Fellowships” at Innovation Think Tank Labs in Shanghai and Wuxi.

 

Eligibility:

•To be a student from any discipline at any university
•Creative thinking and out-of-the-box perspective
•Guaranteed full day participation during the 2-day event

 

Application:

Your application should consist of your CV both in Chinese and English along with a motivation letter to innovationthinktank.healthcare@siemens.com.

 

The participation within the program would be assured based on first come first serve principle so do not wait for the last day for registration. Also knowing the participants will help us in a better planning of the event and participating teams.
